Yes! @ Restoran Sambal Hijau named after their popular green sambal.
We were prepared for trouble at the restaurant as lunch hour is always packed with hungry people and by 2.30pm most of the popular dishes would have almost all gone. We were there early just passed noon, got a table for 7 person and we were gamed for a wonderful Malay foods venture.
Fresh Ulam are raw plants or veggie eaten with rice and of course best eaten with sambal belacan.
The powerful green sambal is so nice that you could probably have it as a simple lunch with a mere plate of plain rice. Maybe it is a good idea to do it often especially during this time of economy crisis….

Grilled Shad (Ikan Terubuk) is sweet but full of tiny bones. Just be careful and enjoy the wonderful taste of Terubuk, one fish that is very popular in Sarawak.

It is quite easy to get there, use the Sprint Highway from LDP, before reaching the tunnel and at a traffic light junction, you turn left (right is going to Taman Tun Dr Ismail). You will reach another traffic junction where you can see the restaurant just next to a prominent mosque. A place which is going to be popular soon, the pricing is still very reasonable.....Go check it out!!!

recently i parked behind the shop and passed by the kitchen. oh my god, ever since that shocking day, i stopped going there.
don't just take my word, the next time you're there take a peep into the dark and filthy kitchen and you won't step into that place again. it's simply a breeding ground for all things nasty...
